I'm American so i don't pay any attention to soccer (aka futbol). Most of you guys are Europeans though so I am sure one of you knows. I do like to watch the world cup its the only time I ever watch soccer (aka futbol) though. Once every four years is sad I know but its quite fun to watch... Go Portugal haha.

afaik the qualifiers for the world cup 2010 are already done. atm there is the confed cup in south africa where some of the best teams play a little tournament. it's something like a "train tournament" for the world cup.

I highly recommend to watch the final between brasil and spain on 24th of june - the best two teams of the world atm that play the most attractive soccer.

I hear the Argentine Lionel Messi is real real good... I believe he plays for a team in Spain... Barcelona I think not real sure though...
P.S. (Portugal will win it all)

Germany plays really boring football but they are probably the most reliable n safe team out there, worth a $20 bet to win maby, will put a bit on england to win, they look good - they also look gay but good still. and $100 on Holland to win !!!!!!!!.

and portugal suck btw, dont think they will even qualify, Scotland could beat them atm n i have to admit, we suck ass big time.

USA within the next 10 years will be a massive contender for the WC finals, america just dosent seem to give a shit about "soccer" atm.

it's 1-0 for USA atm vs spain.

Nevertheless atm i don't see any team that can compete with Spain or Brasil.

spain would easily get out muscled by a team like Italy etc, italy always struggles to qualify then rapes all later stages. spain wont win imo

I dont know how you guys can stand to watch soccer (futbol). I was watching the America Spain game last night it was on ESPN Classic being dubbed as an instant classic and I just couldnt stand to watch it wth is all that buzzing in the background it annoyed the hell outta me they said it was some kinda horns and they were considering banning them I hope they do because I can't stand that shit.
