 Finally, the second round of the WTT is over what we see with mixed feelings. Even if our Teams MMC and MMC_Alpen won their matches, the team Lack of Inspiration with our well-known player  MMC|Nightscr3am had to leave the tourney after a contested admin-decision.. match details.  UBZ Tournament Another weekend, another bunch of tournaments took place in CnC3. One of the was hosted by United-Battlezone.de and once again StyleLiga dominated. He defeated a-L.MSI|Dai in the finals 3-0 and won the prizes sponsored by EA.http://www.united-battlezone.de Any given Sunday #7 The seventh edition of the Any given Sunday Tournament hosted by Figh7Club.de was once again quite succesful. The winner this time was  BattleBot who defeated Zockergod in the finals 2-0.  This very day, Ensemble Studios surprised the entire community with a real interesting announcement: ES is -in cooperation with 'Big Huge Games Inc.'- going to publish a 2nd expansion pack for AoE3 under the title "Age of Empires III: The Asian Dynasties". Apart from several new features such as "wonders" (no detailed informations on what the will be yet), the expansion pack will intodruce some new asian cultures; a screenshot of some of their buildings has already been published.  The biggest event in AoE3: TWC history is going on and after an exciting qualification and group stage, the top16 teams are set and the finals can begin. The overall winner will be determined by a double elimination tournament. Due to the lack of financial support WCG Germany announced today that they won't host a qualification in AoE3 for the national finals. After a little research from our side we have to announce that this does unfortunely mean that there won't be any German AoE3 player representing his country in Seattle. Because of this and a quite a lot of other countries not participating ( Austria, United Kingdom, Finland as some examples) this edition of the WCG becomes kind of ridiculous for the AoE3 scene as the majority of the top players isn't able to participate.http://www.wcg-europe.org/de |
