After a lack of new updates regarding the much anticipated [i]StarCraft 2[/i], Blizzard has brought some new updates which once again have brought a breath of life into the most anticipated game in history. Many months ago Blizzard released the first in a series of shoutcast matches between developers, [url=http://www.starcraft2.com/features/battlereports/1.xml]Battle Report #1[/url], this report showed a match between Terran and Protoss, and gave a small overview of a new map and some of the new observer features. Recently, Blizzard brought online [url=http://www.starcraft2.com/features/battlereports/2.xml]Battle Report #2[/url] which again shows Terran, but this time the enemy is the Zerg.

In addition to the release of the Battle Reports, Blizzard has also given some new information regarding the release to the public of the highly anticipated beta which is slated to begin sometime this summer. Blizzard has started an opt-in process through your user account at Battle.net. In order to opt-in to the beta, users must have at least one registered game account to their user account. The beta will be released first to North America and then move onto to other regions as time progresses.

Thought AoE3 was dead and gone? Think again. AgeSantuary has hosted another Fan Patch tournament for FP1.1. The $2,000 2v2 Fan Patch Cup entered the hot phase. Three MMC players remain amongst some of the best remaining players. [b]NightScr3aM[/b] and [b]NiCo__[/b] have to face Chinnie/great_toncha to win their group. On the other side [b]StarSky[/b] and n!NaturePhoenix have to beat Braidon/Biob0b to reach the playoffs.

With a week to go in the first qualifying stage of Ladder Season 3, [b]MMC.eSports[/b] sits with two players in the top 8, which is the number of players that will qualify for the elimination stage. In Command and Conquer Red Alert 3, new MMC team member, Max [b]'Demon'[/b] Laub occupies the number 6 position on the ladder while in Command and Conquer 3 Kane's Wrath, David [b]'khufu'[/b] Lathrop occupies the number 3 position. Max comes to MMC after a long time stint in the Age of Empires 3 clan GWC. At the most recent World Cyber Games in Cologne, Max defeated such players as [b]MMC.StarSky[/b] and [b]n!Luigi[/b] unroute to a bronze medal finish after losing to eventual champion [b]MMC.H2O[/b] in the semi-finals. In addition to the addition of Max, Noel [b]'n0el'[/b] Saxton will now become the new squadleader. With these changes the MMC.RA3 team looks as follows:

After our successfull qualification for the ESL Major Series Season IV the group stage started. In our strong group we have to face the following clans:

In the first matchup on sunday (17.05) our opponent is morbidPLAN, who are viewed as the strongest opponent in the group. Update: We lost our first game 1-4.

The second opponent is Templars of Twilight (Sunday, 24.05) and the last machtup  for our team is GoldenWarriors (Sunday, 31.05).

Our goal is to finish the group phase in first or second, so every game is important. We have to put all our effort and concentration in these three games in order to obtain our goal.

After the National Qualifications and Qualification Round 1 the last chance to qualify for the EMS is the Qualification Round 2. There our team has to face Frogs of War. As a result of the first qualification rounds the ESL introduced some new rules.

We are looking forward for a good performance of our team. The goal is clear: the qualification for the EMS.

Good news, there will be another Ladder Season for C&C (KW and RA3). The Ladder Season 3 for C&C will have a very special grand finale, it won't be happening online this season. Which means that there will be a offline LAN. There will be more news in the next weeks.
