| StarSky and NaturePhoenix competing for $ 2,000 |

After a flawless walkover,  Andreas "MMC|StarSky" Hefter and our clan's old friend n!NaturePhoenix just entered the final of the 2vs2 Fan Patch Cup hosted by AgeSanctuary.com. With $ 2,000 in prices, it is the biggest tournament played with the current Fan Patch for Age of Empires III: The Asian Dynasties so far.During group stage, StarSky and NaturePhoenix had to face in particular WCG winner  Ryan "MMC|_H2O" Mancl and his partner as well as the famous team  Braidon and Biob0b, before they finally entered the semi-final, where they took out n!faculty players  n!mRcheese and n!Ourk.Alas,  Matt "NightScr3aM" Savaryn and  Nicol "NiCo__" Jamie, who also participated for MMC, could not keep up with this performance and lost their quarter finals.All group stage brackets can be found here, the final matches here. /update: In a difficult final, StarSky and NaturePhoenix lost to  [hope]kiljardi and ACERGAME09, thus finishing second. Nevertheless, kudos to both of them!

war 3 sekündiger command lagg, das spielt nubs wie denen in die hände. Und man soll nicht vergessen das die ca. 10 mal so viel spiel in den letzten 2-3 monaten und wohl 30 mal soviel spiele in den letzten 6 monaten gemacht haben als wir. waren beide weit weg von dem was wir spielen könnten. Dafür wars doch recht ansehnlich = 3 sec command like, good for nubs. and they played literally 10 times as much as we did. we did fairly well for the training we had. ya true you guys almost had no practise as team and i guess acer/kiljardi just had good combo+practise+preparation+v good experience as team btw:check out agesanct acer wins vs h2o also ich glaub ich muss ma langsam aufwachen. was is los mit aoe lol  kaka |

its just play 10 games a day vs play 10 games in 3 months. guess who wins? Grunt and all the others would lose too if they are rusty and dont rly try. Its nothing about skill |

I don't understand what people are on about, it is well known and accepted that scrupulous practice and preparation can overcome "skill". I watched the games and it was obvious that they had a very well thought out game-plan that was well practiced, which deserves a win. |
