While the beta hasn't officially returned as of this posting, all signs are pointing to its imminent return, which means good news for MMC and StarCraft 2 players worldwide. Today, the beta client was updated with a new install and patch notes for Patch #16 were released. The patch addresses some Battle.net features such as adding a character code for friend list searching, updated achievements and portraits, as well as unlocking all of the quick match modes (1v1,2v2,3v3,4v4, and FFA). On the balance side, all the changes were aimed at Zerg, with the frenzy spell being removed and the Ultralisk receiving immunity to stuns. Additionally, rally points now move units in the move command instead of in the attack move command. You can see the full patch notes below.Rally points now behave as a move command, instead of an attack move command.
